What doesn't say Spring/Summer better than fresh fruits and vegetables??
I love vegetables grilled on the grill with some chicken or steak! I also really enjoy going to the farmer's market to get my produce.
Since Michigan is not quite cooperating with the Spring weather (it's been rainy and chilly here the last few days) I decided to make some asparagus in the oven last night and it was so yummy!!!
Oven Roasted Asparagus
What you need:
- Bunch of asparagus
- Olive oil
- Parmesan cheese
- Minced garlic
- Sea salt & pepper (to taste)
Make it:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- If needed, trim asparagus.
- Place the asparagus in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle on Parmesan cheese and garlic. Toss to coat.
- Place asparagus on a baking sheet and season with sea salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until tender.
My husband and I enjoyed this with some grilled chicken! The heads on the asparagus were nice and crispy and it had so much yummy flavor.
