Fall Style Inspiration: Layers

I totally look forward to Fall fashion; I love boots and sweater weather! But, sometimes I'm not quite ready to part with my favorite tees and tanks from the previous season.
The perfect solution: Layer up!!
This is especially key when the weather is that "in-between" temperature. It is no longer warm enough to wear just your tank or tee yet, not super chilly for a bulky sweater.

I have chosen this striped tank from Target as my "base".
I have a serious obsession with stripes. I mean let's be real, I have never met a stripe I didn't like!
The material is super comfy and soft and the stripes allow for some fun pattern mixing.
Here are four ways I have styled this tank differently including a jean jacket, cardigan and scarf, military jacket, and under a plaid top.

Jean Jacket: TJ Maxx
(great options here at Kohl's and here at Old Navy)
Neckace: VeryJane
Bow flats: Mindy Mae's Market

Cardigan: Old Navy
(always great options at Old Navy or Target)
Scarf: Kohl's
Booties: Shop Crave

Military jacket: JCPenney
(option here at Kohl's and here at JCPenney)
Necklace: VeryJane
Booties: JCPenney

Plaid top: Kohl's
(option here at Mindy Mae's Market and lots of great options here at Old Navy)
Bow necklace: Purple Peridot
Flats: Kohl's

  2. Apparently I need to start looking at Very Jane again for necklaces! Love a lot of your pieces. And those booties from JCPenney are great too.

I agree, I wear things throughout all the seasons, but hey, then you get your money's worth!
