Now, don't get me wrong... I have a few of these that I may or may not believe (mostly centered around work!) but superstitions are what Friday the 13th is all about, right!?!?

Now, I am no green thumb so it makes me ecstatic that some trees/plants that we planted a couple years ago are 1) still alive and 2) getting bigger and prettier!!
It may seem silly, but you CAN still use your crockpot in the summer!
I know it's all about grilling come summertime but for those busy week nights that you just need something quick, it's nice to have a meal in the crockpot waiting for you!
A few months back I posted this recipe for Shredded Chicken Sandwiches in the crockpot and they are DELICIOUS!!! Last night I did a version with BBQ sauce and it did not disappoint!

Oh yes I'll still be using my crockpot throughout the summer... LOVE coming home to dinner being ready and the whole house smelling yummy :)
ReplyDeleteLove those flats! I have several shrubs in my front yard that seriously prove miracles happen, because they should be dead, not getting bigger and more beautiful. Haha :-) I use my crockpot all year long!!
