Tanger Outlet Shopping

A couple weeks ago a brand new Tanger Outlet shopping center opened
right around the corner from my house!
The huge shopper in me is so excited about it; yet the budget that I am supposed to be sticking to could be in trouble. ;)
First, if you are from around the area (Grand Rapids, MI) and are interested in visiting the center... here is a link to the Tanger website where you can find a list of the stores you can shop!
Tanger website.

My sister-in-law and niece met me there today to check it out.
Here I will share my experience with you, tips and advice, and my favorite fashion finds spotted!
First, my outfit for the day..

This top is so comfy and cute and LESS than $12!!!
Find it here.

One thing I really liked was that all of the shops were close together and within easy walking distance from one another. I have been to other outlets that are pretty spread out and you find yourself walking through parking lots to get to other stores. These stores were all mapped out well and had great benches/lights/outdoor decor.

I am so excited that ankle booties are back again this Fall.
They are SO cute to dress up and down!
Here is a collection found at Old Navy.

Fall and Winter are all about leggings for me!
I could live in them during these seasons.
These are some found at Express Factory Outlet and my favorite are the Olive colored ones!
They are cargo style and had a cute zipper at the ankle!

I have a crush on that Olive tone.
I feel like it is perfect for Fall and have found some cute tops and pants in the color.
J.Crew Factory also had the most fabulous Olive colored pants, they felt SO comfy!

Well it wouldn't be a complete shopping trip without a pretzel stop, am I right!?!?
Speaking of food... that would have to be the one MAJOR downfall here.
There is only a Subway and an Auntie Anne's pretzel shop.
More food options including maybe one or two sit down restaurants would be great additions.

This jacket is probably my favorite find of the day!
These army/cargo jackets and vests are SO in for Fall.
My sister-in-law purchased this one from the Lucky Brand store and got the greatest deal on it!
Retail: $99; out the door: $32
((That Olive color again!))

This was my one purchase of the day (**sticking to the budget!).
I found this top at H&M!

I wasn't sure what to expect when it came to prices and deals at the outlets.
I found that some of the stores had decent deals but others were very similar prices to the stores you would shop in the mall.

Tanger does offer the TangerClub which is an exclusive offer and reward program.
This may be a great option if you do plan on shopping here a lot.
It offers rewards for spending levels, surprise offers throughout the year, a birthday reward, and coupon books with each visit to mention a few perks of the club.
There is a one-time $10 fee to join the club.

What are your favorite things about outlet shopping?
Thanks so much for checking out the blog post tonight!!
If you ever need a shopping buddy, or, are in need of something... I can help! :)

Have a great week!

Whoa.Wait.Walmart. Spotlight!

Walmart: you either love it or hate it.
I don't frequently shop there but when I do, I often find the cutest things at unbeatable prices.
If you are on Instagram you must follow @whoawaitwalmart!
Bethany and Amanda are my two favorite Walmart connoisseurs!
These two sweet ladies discover and share their great finds at the department store.
You can also check out their blog: Here.

I love some of the things they post and even went to Walmart today in search of this super comfy-looking top shown here. Unfortunately at my local store I was unable to find it, but I did find some other cute things!

I am in LOVE with this tote!
My husband and I are traveling to Utah in a month or so and I have been keeping my eye out for a cute tote to take on the plane with me that can fit lots of stuff. This one totally fits the bill!
The leopard just tops it off! I pretty much can't refuse anything with leopard on it! :)
Black & Leopard tote: $19.98.

I already own a couple of these headbands from here in fun Spring/Summer patterns.
They are comfy and stay on your head (which I know is a problem we ladies have with headbands!)
When I saw these two styles I knew I had to have them too!
I can't wait to wear the plaid one this fall.
And remember what I said earlier... I can't refuse anything leopard!!!
Headbands: $3.98.

Walmart's jewelry section never disappoints!
I love that I can update and add some new accessories to my collection without spending
an arm and a leg to do so!
For $5 a piece.. how can you not!??!

Thanks for stopping by the blog tonight!!
Hope you love my finds as much as I do.

xoxo,
